“Making a difference”
The aim of
this unit is to develop awareness in the students, about the qualities of greatness that
people need to have to become famous.
For example because they did good things
for other people.
Students are
encouraged to think of the idea of philanthropy and they realize that English uses this
Greek word to describe helping others.
The students
undertook projects in reference to important
historical figures whose actions affected the lives of others.
